The Event Academy is the UK’s No 1 Event Management Training organisation, offering live and online courses at all levels and accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Our focus is on developing our students’ professional skills and experience to ensure they are work-ready and able to achieve their career goals in the event industry. We offer a variety of courses, work placements, volunteering and jobs within the industry.
We are looking for an essential team member to join our friendly team to help our students land their dream roles.

This role requires someone who can work to a high level of accuracy and has a friendly, flexible and proactive approach.
- Confident in networking and building relationships (through all means of communication - phone, email and face to face)

- Experience using a CRM database system to input and update information (desirable)
- Experience advising on CV’s (desirable)

Responsibilities
Work Placements
- Coordinate event based work placements for our current students
- Working with the students to help them improve their CV’s
- Setting up interviews on behalf of the students including providing them with feedback
- Creating & sending out work placement agreements
- Regular contact with students throughout their placement
- Handling problems that may arise during the process with work placement companies and students
Other Responsibilities
- Obtaining new volunteering opportunities for our students within the event industry as well as nurturing existing relationships
- Assisting with networking events for students and alumni
- Maintaining relationships with our current students and alumni
- Sourcing new job roles and work placement opportunities for our students
- Maintaining CRM database – inputting and updating student data
- Organising meetings with new and existing clients in the industry

Salary: 24,000-28,000 pro rata (negotiable dependant on experience)
Hours: Part time (ideally Monday - Friday 10am - 3pm, room for flexibility depending on workload)
Location: Remote Working with travel to London for events/meetings. We also host a company catch up in East Sussex every month so would be ideal for someone who is able to travel for these also.
