Job Description - Trainee CNC Machine operator / Stores.
Cooney South is based in Holton Heath just outside Poole and Manufactures High-end Bespoke Stainless Steel and Aluminium Fabrications into to the Marine and Super Yacht Sectors.
Offered is a varied vacancy to support the Growth and development of the business. The Roll will include the Training on CNC Machines while looking after the stock locations of our small stores. Some experience would be an advantage but not essential as in-house training will be given on all areas.
As part of a recent investment program, a small Machining section has been assembled. The role would include in-house training on CNC Routing machine/ CNC Tube Bending Machine / CNC Saw / CNC Brake-Press, Surface Grinder to also include the use of a Guillotine and drilling operations.
Additional duties will include working with the supervisor receiving goods in, store locations and arranging the supply of early-stage components to feed the Factories Fabrication Department. To support the stores Folk truck training could also be offered for the right person.
The successful candidate will have a positive approach and an enthusiastic interest to learn new Skills. With excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure is essential. This is a physical Job and demands an efficient hard-working approach with a passion for quality at all times. In busy times, a flexible approach to additional would be expected.
- Core Working hours: 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Some Saturday Mornings.
- 20 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays.
- Starting Rate between £7.49 & £10.42 depending on age.
- Overtime is often offered when busy, this will also be paid at an enhanced rate.
