Sew Perfect is a small business in Sevenoaks, TN13 1DW. We are professional, agile, innovative, and our goal is to to serve our customers on a continual professional basis and this is reflected with our regular client base.
Responsibilities:
- Perform alterations and repairs on garments according to customer specifications
- Take accurate measurements and ensure proper fit of garments
- Sew, stitch, and hem garments using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Replace buttons, zippers, and other fasteners as needed
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Meet production goals and deadlines
Experience:
- Proven experience as a tailor or seamstress
- Proficient in using sewing machines, sergers, and other tailoring equipment
- Strong knowledge of garment construction and alteration techniques
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements and stitching
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
