We have a part time or full-time Receptionist position available at The Cliff Hotel & Spa working 16-40 hours a week. Duties include checking guests in and out of the hotel, reconciling the shift's takings, making accommodation reservations and taking restaurant reservations over the telephone, internet and in person; and general guest assistance.
The successful candidate will be guest focused, detail oriented and work well under pressure. The ability to work both as an individual and as part of a team is essential. Reliability is also important as is the need to provide a friendly and effective service to guests.
The persons appointed will need to be flexible, able to work weekends and weekdays with shift start and end times varying subject to the rota, for example some starting at 7am or 8am, others mid-morning and mid-afternoon. End times also vary, the latest shift finishing on average at around 10.30/11pm.
Experience as a Hotel Receptionist would be advantageous but not essential. Training will be provided. Access to transport would be advantageous. In-house accommodation is also available if re-locating to the area.

The hourly salary for this post is above the current National Minimum and National Living Wage rates. The hourly salary noted for this post (starting at £10.50 an hour) is based on applicants being aged 23 years or over. Please note that if the successful applicant is younger the hourly rate may be less.
